INTERIOR DESIGN IS MY CAREER, BUT PAINTING IS MY PASTIME....ON SUNDAY WHILE HUBBY AND THE BOYS WENT TO GO SEE THE BLUE ANGELS, I STAYED BACK TO GO TO THE ART STORE....AND COUNDN'T WAIT TO GET SOME MORE SUPPLIES. HAD BEEN SURFING MY ART INSPIRATION ON PINTEREST
AND ALSO WATCHED CBS'S "SUNDAY MORNING" FEATURING ARTIST YAYOI KUSAMA-WOW, WHAT AN INSPIRATION! LOVED HER FAMOUS POLKA DOT ART....AND WOULD LOVE TO SEE HER EXIBIT AT THE WHITNEY MUSEUM!!
TIME FOR JERRY'S ARTARAMA!!
ON THE LIST: 2 LARGE CANVASES, 2 MORE GIANT WHITE OIL TUBES, A COUPLE MORE OIL STICKS (SUPER FUN TO SCRIBBLE WITH!), A COUPLE OF MORE CHARCOAL PENCILS (EVEN MORE FUN TO SCRIBBLE WITH!!!), AND SOME OIL BASED GOLD LEAF PAINT.
I HATE THE WAY MY ART LOOKS IN THE BEGINNING.....AND I HATE (EVEN MORE) THAT I HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT UNTIL THE OILS DRY BEFORE I CAN START THE NEXT LAYER OF PAINT.....BUT ITS A START AN I KINDA LIKE THE PROGRESS SO FAR...I THINK??I'M ALMOST DONE WITH THIS ONE....TRIED THE GOLD LEAF PAINT AND NOW I LOVE LOVE LOVE GOLD LEAF PAINT!!
OKAY, I HAVE A CONFESSION TO MAKE.....THIS ISN'T A REAL ART STUDIO.....ITS MY UPSTAIRS HALLWAY (DONT HOLD IT AGAINST ME-I HAVEN'T DECORATED IT YET!!) THE SKYLIGHT IS AWESOME TO PAINT UNDER....... I CAN TEAR MYSELF AWAY FROM PAINTING IN THIS SPACE!!! I KNOW, IT LOOKS UGLY UGLY UGLY (ESPECIALLY THE OFFICE MAX "CONSOLE")...BUT IT WORKS GREAT!
